Biography:
Christopher Reeve was born September 25, 1952, in New York City. His parent divorced when he was four years old and his mother, who later remarried, moved with him and his brother to Princeton, New Jersey.
Graduate of Cornell University with a B.A. in 1974, and studied Drama at the famous Julliard School of Performing Art under the renowned John Houseman, while sharing a room with actor Robin Williams.
He married actress Dana Morosini on April 1992, and on the same year their son, Will, was born. On May 27, 1995, he was paralyzed in a horse riding accident near Charlottesville, Virginia, USA. He and his wife opened the Christopher and Dana Reeve Paralysis Resource Center in Short Hills, New Jersey, May 3, 2002, devoted to teaching paralyzed people to live more independently.
